Well G won, and I just got home. Damn I so cold too! It hailed last night here, and the weather is well icy. I feel like jumping in the shower, and washing away the cold but what's the point I'm just going to get damn well cold again any old way.

I ended up waking up early this morning despite ending up going to bed at 2am. I ended up sitting up watching RAGE and talking to Sophie into the early hours of this morning. It was funny because RAGE was showing old music like Blackbox, C and C music Factory and Snap. I had forgotten all about those bands, and used to love the song "Things that make you go hmmmmm". It was a trip down memory lane. Isn't it funny how you remember stuff like that. Weird.

I thought of Snap and Blackbox and how a friend of mine Linda was so into them, but I didn't like them. It brought forth the memory of her arguing passionately about them with me on the school bus in year Nine. It's funny how you remember things like that.

I also got two letters finished last night-one to my Grandmother and one to Anna, which is great. I'm going to spend some of tonight writing a letter to Heather, so I can try and get it done and posted tomorrow. I am still so behind in my mail. So much for catching up on it during the holidays.

We'll probably go out later on tonight to celebrate the win, which is cool. I could use a night out...typically the day before Uni starts again. BUT I have tomorrow off, so all is fair.

It's still surreal that Uni is starting again this week. Where the hell have my three weeks off gone? It's so weird.

And I honestly can say not much has happened in the three weeks, apart from working for the club, getting a job at Southern, and starting a new novel. Oh yes, and being asked to be a Godmother.

David asked me last night whether I would be Godmother to his child, and I of course accepted. I have mixed feelings about Shelley's pregnancy, but I am kind of excited for him too. It's all good. It's kind of surreal that my best friend is going to become a father. I figured if anyone had children out of us it would be me first. I guess it wasn't meant to be though huh.

Brrrr I am so cold still.

Not much else to report really. My mind is elsewhere right now. You can guess where.

J
